Andreea Waters is a Photographer/Author and Marketing Professional. In February, 2016 Andreea released a photography book titled, Surf NYC - a visual story and celebration of ocean community, passion and New York surfer soul. Published by Schiffer Publishing, Surf NYC is a coffee table book, hard cover and printed in color.  

Andreea's work is part of a permanent collection at the Museum of The City of New York. Her photography was showcased at Photoville NYC, South Hampton Arts Center, New York Photo Festival, Rockaway Artists Alliance and published by The Guardian, Wired Magazine, Slate, Eastern Surf Magazine, New York Observer, The Gothamist, Outside Magazine, Adorama, The Inertia, local newspapers, International surf and fashion blogs. 

With ten+ years of professional experience in marketing, design and business development, Andreea blends creativity with business acumen giving her an edge in the marketplace. She is a forward thinker and has an innate talent for connecting people and building relationships. Andreea is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson and part of the team to launch the Julia B. Sotheby's International Realty new brokerage in Irvington, NY. Real Estate presents her the opportunity to share the quality of life of the Rivertowns as well as utilize her marketing and negotiation expertise to help families and individuals buy, sell and/or rent. Her connection to city life and culture is essential in helping clients envision and transition lifestyles. Andreea brings passion and positive energy to every project and relationship. 

Originally from Bucharest, Romania, she now lives and works in Winter Park, FL and New York. In May 2012 she discovered Rockaway Beach, where her surf photography began. Andreea's photography captures the mood, culture and art of surfing. She puts herself in the elements without reservation. When you least expect it she is on the beach, resulting in powerful and authentic images that represent timeless moments in East Coast surf culture.
